Wait! I have coupons!

Us Weekly is reporting that Brad and Ang went to Chuck E Cheese when they were in Missouri visiting Brad's family. Dude, even I don't go to Chuck E Cheese (unless I am heavily sedated). And I certainly don't go during flu season. They must either really love their kids or really love cleaning up vomit.

What happens in Missouri stays in Missouri.

(also see: visiting Furr's Cafeteria with your 91+ year old granparents in Oklahoma two weeks ago.)

LOVE IT. Actually, Chuck E's is kind of awesome if 1)you go with a friend -- you can talk all day and the kids won't bother you; and 2)DON'T EAT THERE. Ewww.

JJ, FURRS! I didn't even know they existed anymore. Was it part of a mall or freestanding? Ours was part of the mall and as a kid I was dying to go there. Then I actually did, and that ended that. I'm sure it's improved in order to stay in business?
Mamacita, I think I have sensory problems and all of the screaming and music and flashing lights puts me on EDGE. And then I worry that my 3 year old will get molested and/or trapped in those tunnels overhead. THEN, you add in germs and bad food and it becomes a place I avoid. My MIL, bless her heart, has actually invited us to go with her there later this month.

Ewwww. I feel sticky just thinking about that place. And the noise. I went once. I was traumatized. I never went back. Even my kids found it gross....but uh, maybe that is because I trained them to be anal like me.

This is so buggy to me because now there are legions of people thinking, "Well, sure, where else would they go - IT'S MISSOURI." This has publicity stunt written all over it. No one, but no one, goes to Chuck E. Cheeses voluntarily. No one.

You can just tell by the look on Angelina's face that this was Brad's idea. But then I bet so was their outing to KFC and the movies. Funny!

Furr's makes some serious good fried cod rectangles and fried okra. Plus, and this is actually a bonus, it's now All You Can Eat for only $4.99.

True Story:
The three of us sat near the cash register.

Completely Senile Papa: I don't want to sit here again because the view isn't good.

Granny: ....(looking completely deaf and clueless)...

JJ: Because you can only see butts?

Completely Senile Papa: (loudly) Everyone here is Aged and FAT.

JJ: Time to go!

I wish Angelina was as interesting as we'd like her to be. Despite the vials of blood, the making out with the brother, etc., she actually seems sort of colorless and flavorless, like a glass of lukewarm tap water. Sort of like a female version of Brad Pitt, in other words.

Between sticky seats, screaming kids x 100 and cold disgusting food...I'm surprised they made it out alive!!
